Way back, TI had their own pinout for a 2K EPROM.. the 2532. Unfortunately, today they are more difficult to get, and more expensive when you find them. This adapter board solders onto your existing board, and you can plug in a 2732 EPROM instead. The kit comes with everything that you need except for the EPROM. First, you solder the two pin headers into the adapter board, shifted to the left, and inserted in the bottom of the board. Then add the 24 pin socket to the adapter board, shifted to the right. Next, you remove the old socket from your board (the chances are high that the socket has issues anyhow). Solder in the adapter, and you are done. Take special care that you do not sever or pull up any traces on your board. If you do, mark very carefully which traces were damaged, and solder jumper wires to re-connect.
